When Your Business Collapses and the World Keeps Spinning
In 2020, while the world slowed down, my life sped up in the worst way.
My childcare business — two day nurseries I had poured my heart and life into — had to close. My wonderful staff were furloughed. Parents were staying home, kitchens were being deep-cleaned, banana bread was rising in ovens all over the country — and I was still working.
I was driving in alone. Checking on empty buildings. Chasing insurance claims. Trying to cut costs and keep something — anything — going. Jumping on Zoom calls with families. Painting walls no one would see for months.
I was exhausted, lonely, and terrified that it was all about to collapse.
At home, two of my grown children were under my roof again, but I barely had time or energy for them. My new husband was isolating hundreds of miles away. And I was at breaking point.
It wasn’t just the financial strain. It was the invisible weight of holding it all together — for everyone. Always the strong one. Always the fixer. Always fine.
Except I wasn’t.
The Unexpected Turning Point That Changed My Life
Late one night, feeling completely worn down, I came across a YouTube interview with Marisa Peer. What she said hit differently. It cut through the noise in my mind — and something clicked.
She was offering a free group hypnosis session online. I had nothing left to lose, so I joined it. And something in me shifted.
It wasn’t dramatic or loud. It was subtle. Gentle. But real.
For the first time in months, I felt something… lift.
And I couldn’t ignore the thought that followed:
This is what people need. This is what I need.
From Burnout to Breakthrough
I signed up to train in RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) — not to start a new business, but to help my children, my staff, and maybe myself.
But during the training, I received sessions as part of the process. And with every session, I noticed real, lasting change.
I didn’t just learn the techniques — I experienced the transformation.
The anxiety started to lift. The exhaustion felt lighter. My confidence slowly returned.
And in the background, life began to shift, too. My nurseries reopened. The insurance money finally came through. Things bounced back — after a few hard cuts and a lot of resilience.
But I had already changed. And I couldn’t unsee it.
This Isn’t About Fixing You — It’s About Remembering Who You Are
Later, I added RTC (Rapid Transformational Coaching) to my work — knowing some people feel unsure about hypnosis and might prefer to begin with coaching.
The results? Still deep. Still powerful. Still fast.
I’ve always been someone who wanted to help. To fix. To hold space. But this work gave me something new: a way to guide people back to themselves — without doing it for them.
And that felt more aligned than anything I’ve ever done. I am also now training in Belief Coding® which I feel also enables me to give clients a powerful and rapid shift and transformation in their lives. I can't wait to offer this service too.®
If You’ve Been Quietly Carrying Too Much…
Here’s what I know now:
Healing doesn’t always begin with a breakthrough. Sometimes it begins with a whisper.
The answers we’re searching for outside are often already within us.
You’re not broken. You’re buried.
You were never meant to hold everything alone.
If you’re reading this and feeling like you’re the one holding everything together — I see you. You don’t have to keep doing it the hard way.
This is the work I now offer. Not hype. Not surface-level fixes. But deep, root-level healing that changes how you live, lead, and love — starting with you.
If something inside you is whispering, “there has to be more”… I’d say that’s the part of you worth listening to. Let’s begin there.
